Great ride yesterday! oh my his shoulders are releasing! Sirocco has a new girl friend and he was pretty stuck on her while we were riding. So this is how it went.. 1. let Sirocco decide where to go 2. If he decided to go to Honey , he ended up doing small hindquarter push circles 3. Release going away from girl friend. Reward! 4. Repeat... 5. In the end we were going opposite directions and even had some nice trotting moments!

This week has been getting on and going week! First time bareback, lead line, both me and Gayle! that day was more about teaching him to "pick me up" and he learned it fast! I like taking the new ones for walks at first, no pressure, to find out who they are, what they react to, how they look to me, find some yummy grass, let them make choices. Scirocco was hesitant at first to go by himself, but then thought that it was interesting. We made it out to the street and stood there watching the cows acoss the way. He was...
